Cross Timbers Artist Guild Open Studio Tour

The 2024 CrossTimbers Artists Guild (CTAG), Open Studio Tour is celebrating its 22nd annual open studio tour, by honoring the memory of its founder, Kathleen House. The purpose of the Open Studio Tour is to give the public an opportunity to explore the artistic process firsthand by visiting working artist’s studios, showcase the variety of fine art available in the local area, and create a sense of community among area artists. This unique and popular Denton County art event has provided art education in a neighborhood setting for thousands of people since its inception. Since the first tour in 2002, the tour stops have increased to nearly 20 locations and include a wide range of disciplines such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, clay, glass, fiber, furniture and mosaics.

The Lewisville Grand Theater Art Galleries will be included on the tour this year for the first time. The Grand’s galleries will be available Friday, Nov. 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m, Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.* and Sunday, Nov. 10, Noon-6 p.m. and for extended hours during public events.
